Social issues
Social issues have a broad focus. They range from tasks related to community needs, such as improving health care and the education system, to issues related to the workplace, including respect for human rights and issues such as equal treatment and stakeholder engagement. Examples include labour standards (in the supply chain, child labour, slavery), relationships with local communities, human capital management, controversial business practices (weapons, conflict zones), health standards, freedom of association and assembly, etc.
